Tough Time
I have just ordered some new temperature sensors and dry wall sensors for my company. They use them a lot but were worried that the ones that had were not as good as they could have been. It can be tricky with this sort of thing as it difficult to know whether they really are working as well as they should be. I think that it is important to test them if you can or just update them fairly regularly. This may seem wasteful but they are doing a very important job and if they fail then there is a chance that you could have a situation which will cost you a great deal of money. There is a chance that your insurance company may not pay out if the sensors were not working properly and this might be enough to send the company out of business. It is good in a way to be frugal as it means that the company is likely to make more profit, but there are things to spend money on which could have detrimental effects if they are missing. The difficult thing is to make the choice between which of the spends are necessary and which are not. In these hard times these decision become even more crucial as it is likely that spending budgets will be cut, but a lot of things still need to be bought. I guess it is up to buyers in companies to make these tough decision or put forward arguments to their bosses for releasing more funds in order to get these necessary items. I think none of us want to see the companies that we work for struggle so I am sure we will be willing to go without a few things in order to secure our jobs.
