Have you tried out any of the North Carolina golf courses out lately? I do not know what it is but the ones that I have been trying just seem to be really good. My score is improving and I can only think that it is to do with the course as I have been doing no extra practise, reading about technique or anything. It is fantastic that my game is improving and I am doing nothing extra! Just think if I really did apply myself and try to improve my technique, get fitter or get some lessons. I could start improving even more quickly and maybe even start to beat the guys that I play with. I do not take the game that seriously though. It is fun and I do like it when I am improving but I do not work hard to get there. I do not really have the time to do golf strengthening exercises or read lots of books on the subject, I just get out on the course with my buddies and hope that I can play well that day. I have seen some really serious players in the past who have every video and DVD they can about golf, read lots of books, subscribe to all the magazines and take golf vacations every year to improve their game. I have even seen some NC Golf homesites for sale where these true fanatics can live. I think that this is okay if you are retired and have nothing else to do, but I am busy with work and my family and so just play for a fun hobby and to keep myself a bit fit. Maybe when I retire you never know, I may turn into one of these enthusiasts but until then I will just keep to my fortnightly game.
